Research Experience:

MOHD KHAIRUL AMRI KAMARUDIN is a Research Fellow and Deputy Director in East Coast Environmental Research Institute (ESERI), UNISZA. Mohd Khairul Amri Kamarudin earns his PhD from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in the field of Environmental Management study. His interests in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geomorphology, River Modeling and Geographical Information System (GIS), Remote Sensing, Geography, Sedimentology, Modelling, River and lake simulation, Geometric, River Plan Change, Water Quality, Flood Modelling, Ecohydrology and Climate Change. His research excellence begins during his master study, when he involved in research grant and a consultant of several projects such as Environmental Study for the (Project Title: Integrated Lake Basin Management Plan (ILBM) and Development of Intelligent Lake Pollution Management System (i-LAMP) for Kenyir and Hulu Terengganu Reservoirs, Detail Environment Impact Assessment (DEIA) Study (Project Title: DEIA For The Proposed High Speed Rail (HSR) From Kuala Lumpur to Singapore & Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Study (Project Title: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) For the Proposed Nenggiri Hydroelectric Project, Jajahan Gua Musang, Kelantan Darul Naim). Now he involved as a project leader in Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS), Research Acculturation Grant Scheme (RAGS) and Special Research Grant Scheme (SRGS) Project Grant. Besides that, as co-researcher in more than 10 research grants. He also already produced 3 books (Bencana Banjir Kupasan Pelbagai Perspektif, River Basin And Natural Lake Management & HIDROLOGI Tanah Tinggi dan Tasik under UNISZA’s Publisher), 23 Chapters in Book and more than 100 journal articles in ISI, SCOPUS and other index’s. Mohd Khairul Amri Kamarudin begins his academic career at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNISZA) on 2013 as an Assistant Lecturer (PhD level) in ESERI. After he gets his PhD with GoT (Graduated on Time) on 2014, he was appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Faculty aculty of Applied Social Science, UNISZA while continuing his role as a Research Fellow in ESERI.
