He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University in 1999. Dr. Gao's research has mainly focused on the functional materials, chemicals and technologies for water and wastewater treatment. He is also a master's supervisor in Environmental Science and Engineering at Hebei University of Science and Technology.
